Well looking back at your pics it looks like you have a LHD set on your 89, and on your 92 you have a RHD set. If this is the case you now know what i was talking about having a RHD mirrors on a LHD car. Another case is the mirror glass may have been changed to a flat mirror.

However if this isnt the case, the problem though is as mentioned in the earlier posts is the mirror glass is exactly the same. Both are convex, what denotes them being LHD or RHD is the mirror bases themselves. On a LHD car the passenger side(right) mirror is angled in more vs RHD (left) side being angled in more.

Just to be sure when you stand in front of your car. Do you mirrors angle the same way mine do?

Notice how the passenger side is angled in more.

P.S. I have the P/N if you still want it

yeah, I noticed the 92's mirrors sat back differently from my 89's..

so technically the part number would the same for both RHD and LHD mirrors, but the actual base itself is different.?

yeah, if you can shoot that part number over, I'd really appreciate it..:D thanks!

Im assuming this is for both the mirror and base (best to get both as the mirror housing is also shaped differently, if you dont youll have a gap between the base and mirror housing. Heres the P/N its not cheap mind you.

P/N is correct (the "-01" at the end denotes colour I selected black) Since its not for this market its going to be special order only. Its best to call someone who can order parts from Germany.
