Estimated cost for FG.

Im looking into making a fiber glass hood or two, a full fiber glass dash , and two door panels.

Any of you know how much it will be for materials? I heard you can get stuff cheaper from boat stores then say home depot.

You will need a hell of a lot more materials than you'll be able to get at a boat store/ hardware store. Also you will need a slower cure rate on your resin then that "bondo" resin will give you. Go here, good materials and good info: http://www.fibreglast.com/

Ill be painting most of it, I may do a single CF layer on the hoods for looks when it becomes more available.

The cost of the fiberglass would be the least of your worries I would say. Its gonna take skill, knowhow and technique to make those pieces. A perfectly smooth and shaped hood would be the hardest I would think. Good luck with it. Its all doable though, I dont want to discourage you.
