BHG! (please save this for last)
Cliff:
Went 120 mph, got code 11- reset ecu, got code 21 after boosting tonight, changed bad 02 sensor wiring but car now has white smoke, rough idle and slow acceleration from start.
Story
I went 120 mph on Monday (fully test out new turbo thats been in for a few weeks) and check engine light came on after I braked. Got code 11 which is momentary interruption to ECU. I reset ECU and all was well, until tonight. Driving home I was on the highway and boosted pass a car (from 60-75 mph) then check engine light came on again. Once I got in neighborhood I noticed it felt a little weird like it was misfiring, or spark plug was dead. Pulled in driveway and checked code and got 21 which is Oxygen sensor deterioration. I saw that the wiring above thermostat was all brittle and weak so took out the bad piece and re-soldered a new piece in there. Started the car and it was a little worse. There was now a white smoke, and the misfiring/stalling sound, the heat in the car also didn't work as 85 was the same as 65. Then after this test drive after I pulled in temp gauge started to climb, checked coolant and oil and didn't see any mixing (flushed coolant 3 weeks ago when changed turbo and theres been gurgling noise since where each of the three time I burped it, it got better)
To rule out the turbo I took it for a test drive to see if it boosted, it boosted fine but there was a slight stutter when I accelerated from a dead stop. Pulled connectors off of the most accessible spark plugs (1,5,6) and those 3 are working fine. So now i'm left with a few possibities; the oxygen sensor itself must of got damaged from going 120, a spark plug died (2,3, or 4), cylinder dead,...BHG.
Please let me know what you guys think the problem is here as I have limited time to check because this is my daily driver. Thanks,
