went to start my car, it turned over for a few seconds then the boost gauge from 0 dropped to -4 and at that point i turned the key back to acc.
i tried it agian it turned over for a few seconds then fired once or twice then continued to turn over.
every time i turned the key back off the starter would keep going like its winding down, ive never heard it before but it seems normal.
my girlfriend was outside the car and she said and i qoute " it smells like Gas and Ass mixed"
what could the problem be?
after i let the car sit for a minute or three i tried it agian and it finnaly started. but this was after being stuck in a walmart parking lot for about 30 minutes.

im scared, because i dont want to head towards BHG. because i know i cant afford to rip apart my engine to replace one. nor do i have the proper tools.

Has it repeated this since? did you attempt to restart it later/did it start up first go.
How long was it sitting for before you tried to start it?

Pull a spark plug and let us know what it looks like, my guess from the details supplied is you've got fouled plugs.
While you've got the plugs out it wouldn't be a bad idea to check your compression.

Did you check if the car had spark while trying to crank?

the gas smell you're getting is from flooding the cylinders. change out the spark plugs. block the throttle open and crank. holding the throttle open more than 80% with the engine off will cause the fuel injectors to shut off to clear a flood situation

Edit: you should buy a spark plug tester and make sure that you do in fact have spark.

It's obvious that you have air and fuel. What we don't know is if you have compression or spark.

If you do have spark, I suggest doing as I said earlier, and block the throttle open and crank it over. Doing this will force the excess fuel out of the combustion chamber (if the engine does not start). Mind you this is harmful to the environment, but it will clear your cylinders.

After they are cleared (or engine starts and burns the excess fuel), you'll want to do a compression test on all 6 cylinders and post up the results.

UPDATE:
car did start eventually, but and was working fine untill the other day, it stalled in my yard as i was turning around to leave the driveway. i let it set overnight and had trouble starting it agian. eventually today i got it running and drove it into town where i shut off the engine. (MY MISTAKE) now the car will not start at all. it cranks fine. but no spark. my old boss dropped by with a tester. we traced it back to the Igniter Assy.< right behind the fuse box in the engine compartment> so now on top of being stuck in town untill i can get a new one, unemployment doesnt pay enough to afford a new one, and im piss broke because the bank decided to Fuck me over and leave me with a srvice charge because they told me i had money that i didnt really have. my unemployment comes in the morning. i will have a shamefull 69 dollers to my name.

and as you guys may know, these pieces go for over 400.

try this cheap and easy did it in like 30 min tops dont know how big of a difference it makes since im doing a headgaskit right now so... heard it idles much smoother and increases power if ur car has corrosion on the bracket that mounts to the body it may not even run at all thats where this external ground comes in gives it an extra way to ground it self
