i have a 87 mk3 with 5 speed,i am installing a 2jzgte with a auto ecu out of an aristo ,i have a few questions.
the grey 55 pin connector on the engine harness, does anyone know how to wire it and where they go?
do you have to have any other modules besides the pcm to make it run, like traction computer or fuel computer?
and what do you do to over come the traction portion of the throttle body wiring?
please excuse me being a dumb---

I removed a bunch of traction control and auto tranny wiring out. Search for "wiring peer review" where I noted a bunch of stuff. It's for a 91 Supra, but many of the signals are the same (maybe into different connectors) and you just have to match up to the 87...

I am not sure which 55-pin connector you are talking about, unless you mean the Aristo's body plug. I also noted that connector and the signals you will use from that... The remaining wiring from that plug can be removed.

Hope it helps. Good luck.

Not sure about B1 Pin 10... That may be in the 89+ B1 plug. One of the other notes on the last page of that wiring peer review thread shows... B1 Pin 7 NSW to IK1-E4

Maybe the B1 is different in your car. There are a few more updates in that thread from others, that should be very helpful.

i think i have found the neutral start switch wire (black w/white strip, conn b1 12)its a big fat wire, goes straight to starter,so iam suppose to connect it to ike e4? just as a input to the ecm?
