Contact the guy who put the shit together and get the torque numbers from him man... When I read the paraphrased part of "good to go" I cringed. Has this guy worked on any 7M's before?

"good to go" were my words, not his. He's very reputable and professional. I on the other hand am a schmuck....But that's another story. Engine's idling around 1k now, and I'm trying to figure out a nasty banging somewhere in the top end.....sigh

Something is still not right...maybe record the sound n play it on here as a audio clip...so we know what it sounds like.

i had a friend that also brought his car to so called reputable and professional engine builder that gave him back a hack job and a motor that needed to be rebuilt with less than 5 miles on it.

you need to bring it to someone with some 7m experience.
