Hello, I got the Type A oil gauge on the 7m gte. Which can read from 0 - 8kg/cm3 2? When driving normal around 2000-3000 rpm the readings are at nr.2kg/cm3 2. Which should be normal. But when I increase the rpm up to 6000rpm. The oil pressure is still the same as if in 2000-3000 rpm. Doesn't oil pressure increase when the engine output increases? Thanks for the answers.

On the 7MGTE, the oil cooler circuit kicks in at 40 psi (2.8 kg/cm^2) preventing the pressure from going any higher.
Mine sits at the middle line between 0-40 while I'm idling but as soon as the pedal is stepped on a little it will go up a little and while driving it's prety much always resting right on 40. That good/normal?
My 7MGE is the same way, goes up to about 2.2kg/cm2 and sticks there all the way up to 6500, is it fine? I doubt it.. it consumes a bit of oil, its old, its worn out.
How do you think for 1 second that a gasket and some fastener hardware up top is going to change your oil pressure at all?
