Engine noise question

just got my car running again and my engine is making a ticking noise, my friend said its just the valvetrain, but it goes along with the Rpms. ive heard peoples sound clips with rod knock and you can hear it inside the car when they drive, but i cant hear it at all inside while i drive, and it drives great, runs smooth, and has tons of power. im just wondering if anyone knows what this sound is. any help is greatly appreciated

chances are a noisy valve....I know what your talking about, prolly just a valve or your hearing the intake pulses, but that sounds deeper than vavle tick

my friends 89 makes the same noise, mine is just louder, and he said it was the valves on his car

Valves or injectors are most likely. If you're concerned, pickup an auto stethescope and see if you can pinpoint where the noise is comiing from.

its the same exact noise as at the very beginning of this sound clip (not my car but same noise)

and i think my friend has a stethoscope so ill see if i can grab it

ive mainly been a domestic guy, so i dont know too much about my supra
