For only 400hp I would run a S-AFC and a BCC On my 1jz that set up with a tuned ECU and 550cc inj. I ran 550whp on my 1jz though a large single. That was right at the limit of alot of things with that.
I now have a 2jz single in my car running a AEM EMS and I love the ability to change timming and monitor all the operations of the engine. This is not the set up for some one with limited EFI knowlage. If you are to go that way you will need to find a good tuner (not some one that says they know how it works but some one that has a proven recored).
