Ok guys, I checked for codes, all I got was code 34, according to my owners manual thats a Boost Pressure Sensor Signal, my friend jesse advised me that could be a boost leak or it could be stored from all the times I've hit fuel cut.
My o2 has yet to be replaced since O'rielly's ordered me the wrong one twice now, so Ive since ordered mine from an online Toyota Dealer for 135 which is still much cheaper than the 150 to 180 auto stores here wanted.
Car still idles funny between 400 and 700 rpm's, black smoke at idle worsening when you rev or try to move the vehicle, and code 34 being thrown, no other codes though.
I have an o2 on order, hopefully the right one will show up like it's supposed to, No vac or boost leaks have shown up through my checking, only point that may be allowing for a boost leak would be the coupler for the 3000 pipe but I doubt it since its not going into the void between the two pipes, and its not a deep crack either, if the o2 changes nothing I will be doing a replacement of that coupler. Some say the O2 cannot cause any of these issues, some say it is the cause, from what I've read I am uncertain and since my old one is black and oddly enough an original part I'm replacing it, when I swapped out to a new MAF my problems were dramatically better but not completely, I'll add additional info once I've gotten my new o2 and installed it, hopefully it helps if not fixes the issue, meanwhile I'm still looking through the maze of hoses and couplers for leaks, none have been found yet.
Cliffnotes:
**Code 34**
**No o2 yet since the parts store screwed up**
**New o2 Enrt as of today 5 day shipping **
**No visible vac or boost leaks**
**Still black smoke at idle and idles between 400 and 700rpm's, before replacing MAF it was between 400 and 1200 to 1500 and tried dying**
**Old O2 was pulled and is dark black, almost looks fouled**
