Ok guys, I checked for codes, all I got was code 34, according to my owners manual thats a Boost Pressure Sensor Signal, my friend jesse advised me that could be a boost leak or it could be stored from all the times I've hit fuel cut.

My o2 has yet to be replaced since O'rielly's ordered me the wrong one twice now, so Ive since ordered mine from an online Toyota Dealer for 135 which is still much cheaper than the 150 to 180 auto stores here wanted.

Car still idles funny between 400 and 700 rpm's, black smoke at idle worsening when you rev or try to move the vehicle, and code 34 being thrown, no other codes though.

I have an o2 on order, hopefully the right one will show up like it's supposed to, No vac or boost leaks have shown up through my checking, only point that may be allowing for a boost leak would be the coupler for the 3000 pipe but I doubt it since its not going into the void between the two pipes, and its not a deep crack either, if the o2 changes nothing I will be doing a replacement of that coupler. Some say the O2 cannot cause any of these issues, some say it is the cause, from what I've read I am uncertain and since my old one is black and oddly enough an original part I'm replacing it, when I swapped out to a new MAF my problems were dramatically better but not completely, I'll add additional info once I've gotten my new o2 and installed it, hopefully it helps if not fixes the issue, meanwhile I'm still looking through the maze of hoses and couplers for leaks, none have been found yet.

Cliffnotes:
**Code 34**
**No o2 yet since the parts store screwed up**
**New o2 Enrt as of today 5 day shipping :(**
**No visible vac or boost leaks**
**Still black smoke at idle and idles between 400 and 700rpm's, before replacing MAF it was between 400 and 1200 to 1500 and tried dying**
**Old O2 was pulled and is dark black, almost looks fouled**

Is it rich under boost or at idle? If its under boost then that small crack in the coupler between the 3000 pipe and TB is leaking air and its already metered, therefore adding the necessary fuel for it. Without that air, you will run rich.

2 the less of the 2 is the ideal speed control witch will cause crap idlea and stalling at lights and rich at ideal

02 sencer is the last thing to cheak that more of gas milage thing really as in it wonte really cause your car to run that way

nope, it's a bit low, but not too bad...

remove and clean the ISC, find all the boost leaks, replace plugs (if the O2 sensor is fouled, so are the plugs usually)

could be any number of things like a bad TPS, ect...

I changed the plugs first thing, that cleared the missing up, it normally Idles at 500 warm and 700 to 1200 on a cold day at first startup. I replaced the MAF and that cleared a lot of the issue up. Where is the ISC located?

It's rich at Idle, I havent driven it because I don't wanna risk it crapping out and being away from the house, tow bill is way too high ya know. My mileage was deteriorating before this all happened, the MAF was obviuously shot considering replacing it changed the problem drastically for the better but didn't clear it up completely. Only code it came up was the Code 34 so IDK, I'll replace that coupler just to be safe since its like 5 bucks and put the new o2 sensor in and go from there.

After clearing the codes, drive it locally. I'm not sure if the ECU will register any codes if it just idles. You may have to run it around the block for a minute or two. I don't really think that theO2 sensor can cause a HUGE rich mixture, aspecially at idle, and at wide open throttle, it doesn't affect mixture at all. I'd say cleaning the ISC is a good idea, then if that doesn't work, I still say you should check the cold start injector, it may be stuck open. Simply depressurize the fuel rail, and un bolt the outlet to the CSI on top. Plug it with a correct-sized bolt, and see if that is an instant cure. I think it's a
14mmX1.5. Good luck.

Hella rich at idle through highway cruising could also be a defective CSI.
But you should try testing for boost leaks as Grim says.
