how do I tell if my motor and harness is pre 89 or not? My car was originally non-turbo automatic, and I changed it to a manual turbo motor, but I do not remember the year of the motor and harness.

Yellow plug is pre 89, some have aid it comes on EARLY 89's, anything above early 89 is gray plug.
/\ yup and the motor should have extra ribs on the block: 1 in between the cylinders and 1 on each cylinder on the exhaust side. but the blocks changed sometime in 89 and 90 i believe.
