so what, lines become ss, and pipes are aluminum? does this actually improve the temp problem i have heard so much about on 7m's?

also, i am looking for cheap power....350 crank would be nice. suggestions?

aaaannnd...what about lowering it a bit? i am highly interested in drifting, so i wanna get some coilover's but i want some opinions first, you know?

I don't know how much power you can make on a stock ct26, but it has been covered before numerous times I'm sure. MBC is manual boost controller. You should really do some maintenance on your supra before you upgrade it. Use the search function and see if you can find out the best route to take. Good luck, and 350 at the crank is going to be very easily attainable.

You have soo much to learn. The thickness of your headgasket relates to how much is shaved off of your head and the block to make them perfectly flat. You choose a HG based on how much is shaved off so you can keep the stock compression.

Use the search function.

I assume you have an R154(5-speed). Its a pretty strong tranny. Just dont hit the rev limiter at all and you will be good. Hitting rev limiter is no good.

And actually DRIFTING your mk3 is pretty much not going to happen. The car is too heavy. Just get some Eibach springs with Tokiko Illumni II's (TEMS compatible).

suicide is not the answer. Maybe if there is one perfect thread that tells all of this, someone can sticky it so all of the new members know what order to start upgrading their engine. Just a thought.

:biglaugh: Ah, good stuff.

Yeah, if you got the motor torn apart, take a look at the sticky in this section of CURING 7M OILING PROBLEMS and use the search bar for Rebuilding tips, it should cover the MHG picking out.

And for Goodness Sake and for everybody else's get the Cylinder Head Lapped and the OIl pump shimmed!!

Drifting: I don't have all the kinks out of my motor yet, and with full interior the best I can do stock is just slide her around a corner. Dead stop burnout... It chirps the tires, hooks up and lauches me.

Lowering: Like Fletch124 said.

Turbo Upgrade: no, ct26 57mm Trim. Basically find Driftmotion.com's vendor section and check out their sticky on BigAaron's company upgrading turbos. I think it's $500~ and 3-5business day turnaround after they get it, and the price also included shipping it back. Plus they have a Bling package available. :naughty:

Hope this helped some. Later

As far as the Temperature worry goes.

I'm running a stock WaterPump, 50/50 mixture water and antifreeze. Stock clutch Fan, and whenever the other two electric fans come on. It reads just below halfway on the gauge. And I just drove through Black Friday traffic yesterday so that was a trial and a half to put my 7m through.

Basically the stock setup is awesome as long as the passages are cleaned out and the mixture is right.

I hear welding your head to your block works good.
BHG will be a thing of the past.

SERIOUSLY: Do some serious researching before you start modding away your car.

In the most sincere and friendly way possible, do yourself a favor and learn some terminology and "why you do this" type of stuff before you do anything.
