O2 sensor and Switch Signal.

?????

I understand the o2 thing, my front stud is missing and i just got a (Home depo) bolt that fits the stud area just fine (toyota couldnt order the stud i was askin about they were f'in clueless) and the o2 light didnt go off. I drove with the front stud missing for a few months. I figured my o2's shot, its covered in carbon.

Switch signal, fucking lost on that one. Start with checking / adjusting my TPS sensor? Pretty lost. Would like some input on these.

There is a thread that explains code 51 more in depth than I want to type. Recently I had some issues with this same code. First thing I would do is check the TPS adjustment and make sure it is set to spec, if it is and you still get code (saying that the A/C button is off, and it is not the automatic issue) you will be where I was at. My throttle stop screw had been tampered with. This screw is set from factory and if it is tampered with you will not be able to properly set you TPS to 28 thousands (or however much the TSRM states). I ended up purchasing a used throttle body (well two, one I got had the screw tampered with so in the trash it went). Set my TPS and codes were gone. I am sure its possible for someone to set the throttle stop screw where it needs to be, but it would take lots of guessing. I work with a toyota master tech and his advise was get a throttle body and be done with it. With out your code 51 being corrected your car will not go into base timing when you jump pins E1 and TE1, the car doesn't know it is at idle, TPS is off, and many more issues occur, your other code may even go away with code 51 getting fixed.

Oh and TSRM Procedures on setting the TPS can be found here http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/ you will have to do a little looking.

Good luck
