I have a stock head unit from a 1992 camry, double din, and it has no integrated amp....so i let it sit.

i just found a kenwood KAC-746 for 20 dollars, its a 4 channel. but i wanted to make sure the headunit i have would give a good enough signal for this setup to work. i'm planning to run the wires from my head unit to the amp, then to the speakers.

let me know what you think.

i was going to get a stock external amp, but if this will work i'll probably get it if its a good deal

its 35Wx4 rated or 70Wx4 max output

here's one that sold on ebay (its completed, so you need to login)

nobody? man...sorry about the short notice. i think it will work...but i'm really new to car amps. i guess 20 isnt a bad price either way. if it was newer i would just nab it...but its about 4 or 5 years old. the high price they sold for on ebay was 39 ish.

Should work no problem. The amp shouldn't need much input power from your head unit.
I personally like Kenwood amps.
