when someone sends something to the white house it returns with an automated response, its not from SM the Ips dont match, but it is from your computer, basicly someone or something has sent an email with your addy to the white house, and the white house is saying that G dubya doesnt have time to respond to your message.

smadmin@localhost means it could have come from anywhere. It doesn't mean it was someone from Supramania.com. There is no way to trace it unless someone steps forward and says they did it.
Sounds like a generic program's default address to me. Check with everyone on every forum you've ever posted on, or anyone who has ever seen your email address ever.

There is NOTHING in those headers to indicate that my server has a single fucking thing to do with that message.
At no point is my static IP indicated.

At no point is ANYTHING indicated that would show this server has anything to do with it. Please don't tell me "smadmin@localhost" is where you built your conclusion. If so, get off the Internet now...

As a matter of fact, a whois lookup on the IP in question shows it's actually registerd to the white house:
http://ws.arin.net/whois for the Internet illiterate.
I'd suspect someone is sending email to the whitehouse and is spoofing YOUR email addy and you are getting the vaild replies from them...
Forgive me if I sound a little bent, but admins like me lose HUNDREDS of hours to stuff like this. People call AOL support and say "That supramania site is spamming me" and the next thing I know my entire server is blacklisted and I have to spend hours getting it delisted while I fight my way through 101 incompetent AOL techs...
Edit: Yes, I'm overreacting... I HATE fucking spam, and getting accused of supplying it makes me crazy.. %-O

At least central gave out a very reasonable explaination, and read out I can understand him being pissed he does work his ass off to keep this site going. I dont think joel meant any harm from this post.
