Guys, a while back there were pictures floating around of a Mark III Supra painted Lambo Orange. Does anyone still have those pics? I have been looking for them for a while and have not been able to find them

I think it was for a magazine article if I rememer correctly

Thanks

There's also the Import Tuner car that just happens to be at my buddy's shop right now for a head gasket. The import tuner car isn't lambo orange, but it is a similar color and it is OOOOOOO-RANGE!

So, on the new vette, and some other cars, the door "handles" are really just touchpad's that activate the door latches....

Are they going to "instaban" the Z06 and other Vette's? Basicly they just have shaved door handles if you think about it. (The door opening "keypad" or button is just where the door handle should be....)

I notice GM is using this on many rear hatches and gates too. Sure will suck to try and unlock these when the power is cut after an accident.

Of course, the local hose draggers have been very ambitious lately about cutting power to wrecked cars. I've noticed more axe damage than normal, especially on the hybrid vehicles. They must be using a power isolated fiberglass axe handle, and are just chopping the hood open, then cutting power to the vehicle by cutting the positive cable(s) In a few cases, I've seen the axe breaking or otherwise damaging the plastic intakes and valve covers common on many new cars. (Of course the ones that were on fire, and have neat-o axe imprints on alloy intakes and valve covers made soft by the fire are pretty cool..) Think flaming mustangs = interesting axe damage.

yeppers!!

no way for the safety crew to open the door without knowing the lock code. Now if it is an electronic pad that can open the door by touching it without code it might be allowed but best to check with tech inspector on that.

Thanks guys, thats my car. The handles have no solonoids-i wind down the windows with my alarm. If you dont get the REALLY expensive solonoids, i heard they can "pop" by themselves-thats the last thing i need when driving. I have only had a problem once with the windows not rolling down when the module got wet-i did have to crawl in the trunk to get it lol. Thanks for the comments everyone-wait till you see the new engine setup in a few months.

'bout time you showed up polobai!
no solenoids... that's a great idea as well.. hmm...

i've always wanted a remote to auto-down my windows as i totally refuse to sit in a car until all windows are down. i hate that stale hot air feeling.
