Electronic boost controller vacuum

I'm going to be hooking up my ebc and was wondering if it matters if I hook it up to the intake manifold or right off the turbo. I was wondering along the lines of pressure drop and reaction time. I dont have a vacuum port on my single turbo now but if it makes a difference I'll drill and tap a line in. Also, the same question for my tial wastegate.

One more basic question, the stock 1jz map sensor is bolted to the intake mani and the vacuum line for it is ran off a port on the intake mani correct?

My map sensor isn't bolted to anything, but the vacuum line is ran off of a port from the intake manifold. My Tial wastegate is hooked up to anothre port off of the intake manifold. My boost controller is hooked up off of the turbo outlet. I had to drill and tap a hole for a fitting. It wasn't hard though. Good luck.

if you aren't having pressure issues currently, then just leave it on the intake manifold.
