:1zhelp:
hey all i'm in desperate help to diagnost what I F*()$) up when i tried to do the foglight rewire (following the 87-88 model). so i first started out by cutting and tapping wrong wire because i didn't realize i was reading the post 89 model foglight rewire (yeah i know). so reconnected them back to how they suppose to be originally. then i follow on the 87-88 model version to do the rewire.:: angry ::. just for reference this is the directions i used for the rewiring http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99842&highlight=foglight+rewire everything seem straight forward, after i have firmly connected the wires that i supposed to (according to directions), no lights (disappointment). I did the typically thing, check for good ground, check for blown fuses and etc. no luck. i then gave up and decided to put all the original wires back to where they belong before the foglight rewire since i don't care about the fog light anymore. but god's messing around with me, after i reconnected all the wire back ( i must've shorted something) my window doesn't work, my dash light doesnt work, and my heater control doesn't work anymore). checked all the fuses again...nothing blew...but one fuse doesn't have power and according to the "fuse map" print on the side kick pannel, it's labeled it's for the mirror and heating fuse?

so now i just want to know where should i start tracing. i dont' care about the foglight anymore. just want everything back to normal (i.e. no foglight = normal for me since i did the TSX HID retrofit). somebody please help. thanks much in advance.

Could you elaborate a bit on that (what kit did you use ?) I believe the retro-fitting of the HID kit has rendered your fog lights inoperable. Let me guess, you put in HID's...and now the fog's don't work. I could help ya, but I would need to be at your car in person, because trying to explain what is going on would be difficult and lengthy.

so i used the tsx projectors and mate them into the cheap projector ebay h4 housing. I used the d2s HID kit (55w apexcone brand, not recommended) and then yes my foglights don't work (which is normal?). So decided to do the foglight rewire so i can have the foglights and of course, i screwed up big time and hence the problem described above. lol.

not the first time I've heard of foglights being rendered inoperable after HID install. So, just tap into the power wire output side of the switch, and tee it into the power leads for both foglights....make sure the ground wires are solid while you are down there.
