Who me? I've always spelled it that way when referring to this kind of thing. As an engineer I was taught "gauges" are used for making dimensional measurements ie; gauge blocks, plug gap gauge, ect, while "gages" are used to display physical world variables ie; heat, pressure, ect. The terms are often used interchangeably but I prefer to stick with that approach ;)

Google also said that, that is the correct way of spelling it for that application. Supposedly like you said though, it is slowly all becoming gauge.

And yes, you. :)

I guess it makes sense about not running fluids etc through the firewall, a relative of mine on his 1967 Monaro GTS has the 3 just ontop of the bonnet finns near the wipers... although I believe they are still defects / illegal (police seem to think if you hit an old lady... and she gets in contact with those tiny gauges, it's causing extra unecessary damage... right) So if you want them inside your dash then electric would be only way to go.

I'm running all electric except for boost.

If you are buying electric Prosports this week, I have two in my barn, new in box. PM if you care.

Damn, I just ordered them a couple of days ago! Oh, well.
