have an aluminum radiator with my 7mgte setup. My electric fans are shit. 10 min @ idle she heats up, and please don't have me stuck in traffic after driving on the highway.
So are there any reccomendations for a great electrical fans? Aftermarket or another oem. I've read the stories about the clutch fan being
Best but right now that isn't an option for me. Thanks guys.

I come from a land down under
Something OEM with a well designed shroud is best, I fitted AU Falcon fans to mine, I believe Ford Contour fans are much the same thing.

There are pics of mine in the Members rides section.

I found out that a mechanical fan is the way to go for maximum cooling. If anything run two smaller 10in high flow fans to get as much surface coverage on the radiator over a single fan.

This is what I use on my 1uz swapped 1988 toyota pickup and it keeps the engine well cooled. They are noisy though but move 2100cfm a piece.

I'm really being convinced by Many people that the clutch fan is the way to go. Those suckas are so loud, but staying cool is more important.. So I might have to find a stock clutch fan

Loud?????? I dont know what you are talking about. There quiet. I cant remember one time I said to my self "boy the stock fan is loud". Loud = electric fans, NOT clutch fans

Yes find a good used 10 blade oem clutch fan and reinstall it. You should be able to pick one up in the F/S section for $60ish.

Volvo vans the best sleeper E fans out there. I'm running one from a Volvo 700 or something like that. Works awesome and the install is super easy.

try out a V8 95, 96, ... mustang fan there awesome and easy to install. just see if there is the 2 positive and one negative wires, not the 2 negative one positive, because it is more easier.
but if you didn't find it it wont make any difference

If you get electric fans with a proper shroud they will work fine. I have Dodge stratus fans which fit almost perfect on my Koyo radiator and are very effecient. They are two speed and even only using the lower speed, the fans pull down the temp real quick.
