my friend had one on his turboed neon that he called an srt4. open dp whenever you want, and when done, flip the switch, and a tad bit quieter.
I really want one but I feel the designs I have seen so far are severely lacking. I want something that redirects 100% of the exhaust flow. Not just opens a hole perpendicular to the exhaust stream. I know they work fine due to the path of least resistance but I don't care. I want it to work my way.
Wait for the day you drive your supra with a tubular manifold and open downpipe... talk about brain numbing.

Actually, an open header on an NA will be LOUDER than it would be on a turbo.
The turbocharger itself takes a lot of the sound away.
In the process of doing my turbo swap, I had to drive the car a couple of times with no exhaust, and it was a lot quieter than I'd expected it to be.
