egr valve

is there any way to this to see if ther egr valve is in good working conditon if its on the car. and is it possible to remove it without removing intake manifold.

it is possible to remove the egr while intake is still on...just tuff!...sorry i cant answer the first question but im interested in the answer as well!

To Check EGR Valve:
a.) Apply vacuum directly to EGR while engine is idling
b.) Check that engine runs rough or dies
c.) Reconnect vacuum hoses to proper location
