Ok, this may sound stupid or like a good idea to some of you guys. On the back of the cylinder head, when you remove the EGR cooler....
Could you just tap the EGR feed hole and put like a stainless steel plug in it? Wouldn't have to worry about the EGR cooler leaking or anything like that. Yes, I have blockoff plates already. I just want to give the motor a little more space behind the head, and eliminate the possibilty of the EGR cooler getting loose and leaking.
Does this sound like a good idea guys?
