Are there any related complications with removing the Egr valve. I was told that it could case damage to a daily driver. And you only need [ 2 ] block off plates.
One for the manifold on top, and 1 for the exahust side, the one of the intake manifold ( bottom ) is only a " L " shape which does not do anything, it doesn't even flow into the valves.

Thanks guys.

Well, the ECU program was written for EGR installed. The changes affect how high of an octane rating you need.

:word8kn: And who wants to pay somethin like $4.50+ a gallon by this summer when they don't have to?

I have daily driven my car for four years and 30k miles without an EGR setup. Removed the canister also with no ill effects. I'm not saying you will have the same results, but just saying I haven't had any issues.

Yeah, well in some peoples experience, the world is flat. They can see it is flat, just as the sun is bright.
