egg remedies

my camry got egged this morning by some chicken shit queerbag asshats again since February. I didn't notice it till I was getting ready to leave for class, and I don't know if my mom saw it or not cuz she didn't tell me anything about it. If she didn't see it when she left for work, then it meant it happened sometime between 6:15AM and 8:30AM. I got most of the yolk off and whatever egg i can find on the body and left the ones that was on the windows. Ended up being half an hour late for class since parking was a bitch on campus.

Anyone have a good remedy as to make sure the egg(s) come completely off or something that'll prevent eggs from sticking to the car? I got most of the yolk off, but the egg whites I left alone on the windows until I could get to it later on after my last class. I don't know if I got all that shit off. I went to one of those DIY car wash place and used the high pressure option and the brush to try and get everything off.

I'm so fuckin' pissed about this. If this shit's gonna happen to the Camry, I don't wanna even imagine what's gonna happen when the Celica comes to me in the next couple of weeks. Pic of said Celica.

Ever since I've lived here someone has covered my car in playground sand, ripped off my wiper blades, and have twice egged my car.

I guess you need to put on a car cover at night time then. You'd be amazed at how many people won't fuck with it because they are afraid that something will happen when they take off the cover. Also invest a couple hundred dollars in an alarm.

I've heard (although I can not confirm) that a tefflon (sp?) based wax can make it easier to remove stuff like that, but it's a pain in the ass to cut off if you want to use a different wax.

Small camera would be a really good idea. You can buy them for next to nothing, wire them in some where, and attach them to your computer, or some small digital recorder. It sounds like it's worth it, seeing as the damage to your car along would pay for an allarm system and a camera.

A friend of mine was having that type of problem, only worse. His car was getting beat up, things taken out of it, and someone tried to set it on fire. The 3rd time back from the insurrance company, he said "that's enough". So him, 2 other friends and I stayed up for 2 weekends in a row with full cammo, blacked out paint-ball guns, and hid in the bushes. They always came at about 2am, and my friend couldn't park his car close enough to his house.

At about 1:45am, a large truck came by, and 2 kids stepped out with a crowbar, and a baseball bat. We stayed in the bushes, to wait until they made a move. They did... and we lit them up. They were screaming like little girls, they discarded their "weapons" and scrambled for their truck. We also gave the truck a nice coat of paint. Then... we went to Sharie's. (inside joke)

Edit: Sharie's is like a Cafe that's open 24 hours in some cases. Every time we went to Sharie's, it usually was because we had been up to no good. Hell the cops even knew to look for us there. And to finish the story, the 2 kids we shot up admitted to beating up the car 3 times, and were put in jail for a short while. They were found because of their mother finding all the welts on them, and reporting that her son had been beat up. The cops came, saw the color of paint on their clothing, and arrested them both. The shooters were never found... and never looked for either.

The ONLY thing that worked for one of my friends was----

He sat outside for an entire night watching his car KNOWING the kids were gonna egg it. (happened every sat night) He waited up untill about 2 inthe morning, then he saw some kids comming down the road with (get this) a egg carton.

They looked around (friend was hiding behind car) saw nothing, and began throwing eggs at his car.

He got up.

They were like "HOLY SHIT" he said "ive already called the police".

NEVER came back again.

I had kids breaking into cars every weekend for stereos and the cops wont do anything. So....i camoed out, got my muzzleloader(yes i hunt deer.) The trick is load the gun with paper instead of lead, drank some monster. Then, got up in a tree so i could see them coming. About 1:00am, 3 punks roll down my driveway. I raise my gun and turn on my "laser" (cat toy) and yell freeze! As they ran i pointed at the sky and fired. They never were seen again! But a few days later, the police came to my house claiming that a group of boys were shot at and they asked if i knew anything. I laughed and said "Nope!" I pay to see the kids parents faces.(kid) "but mom we were just playing around at 1am and we got shot at!" (mom) yeah, you need to quit playing video games.

What sux most is that I live in an apartment complex and usually, the people that walk around at night, you'll only seen'em once and more than likely never again. I don't think a car cover would do much cuz they'll still take a stab at messing with whatever's underneath and would probably use the cover to smear whatever crap they're using. Mind you, I'm a 5'7" ~130lb Asian dude. A li'l guy, pretty much. The other guys that walk around are usually twice my size and walk around in groups of 3 or more. I know they won't do shit if by themselves. Most of my friends are outta town for school, so I'm SOL there.

The only people I know that live in my complex is my co-worker (who's about to move out soon), and the neighbors downstairs, but they themselves are hardly home.

i like that daily bitchin thread, i think youd have a lot of contributors. looking through it all, id say the only solution is to either stay up at night or record em; although if you meant that it was just random vandals it wouldn't work as well. you could go for some crazy-ass top of the line alarm system, but that might be a bit on the expensive side. id just park the car under a streetlight, if there were any. if not, i guess the only plan is to stay up with a crowbar (or a similar negotiation tool)

You need to get the egg off asap if that happens. I have heard that bug and tar remover works well. This is out there but Gunk interior cleaner works very well on cleaning off bugs from paint ect. It doesnt damage the paint!!! I have used it for years to get the bugs off of my cars from highway trips. Always wash the car good after you use products like that.

As far as solving your problem???? Move to ND, Shit like that doesnt happen here. Most people dont even lock there cars or take the keys out of them.

da89soup - I tried in what little time I had to clean off my car. I think I got most of that junk off now. I'll probably decide to just have the car repainted for my mom sometime before the end of the year. Do you know what I can use whenever I wash my car so that it'll make it easier to clean crap like that off prior to it ever happening?

I would love to move, but my mom's being stubborn as all fuck.
