If you look at Page 108 - Japanese specification Supras, it mentioned that there was a limited edition Turbo R 3.0 litre which had Recaro seats and a digital dashboard.
Don't you think this is misleading because there is only one Turbo R which is the 2.5 GT?

i also like the color commentary like "celica-free Supra". im going to use that in the future! what got me was that their cars didnt have cats until 89... thats how the NA was able to break 200hp. thats cool for them. weird that the 89's still had the gay tail lights though...
that black 91-92 was the HEAT though... omg, that is probably THE mk3 to have. black on shadow gray, 91-92, non-airbag '89 steering wheel, a GODDAMN HARD TOP... holy crap... id trade my car straight up for that one... Right now! however, i keep my tail lights
the one thing that got me is some of their aftermarket parts recommendations... HKS SuperSqueaky valve? cmon man, everyone knows the GReddy Type-S is the offiical "my first bov". and the Blitz SUS filter? yeah tahts fine if all youre trying to filter out is Rocks and small children. and the HKS gaskets are 1.2 and 2.0mm; ive never seen a 1.0 gasket unless its like a single-layer 2jzge headgasket.
i have to admit, those are some MINTY mk3's... kinda make me jealous. but i wouldnt put all that stock shit back on my car just to be mint. my car is Madd Tyte USDM Yo!

Being that they are still saying that the turbo wasn't introduced till 87, geez we had them long before that
and awesome facts,
a turbo r with a 3.0L and digital dash.. whatever!
i mean make up your mind, is it a gt limited or is it a turbo r?
um.... yea i think toyota would laugh at me if i asked for headlight washers, not an option jdm
if i recall my 87 already has pps lol but that could a uk fact
hehe, the turbo will not fall off under power... hmm do ya think they mean till redline? i doubt it lol
and don't forget boys n girls to look for that bad turbo failure black smoke lol
i think a bit of those weights are messed up too lol

jap spec pre 89's as we know are identical in body shape to usdm not uk

i dunno about this 234 hp, i think they forgot pre 89 was 230 and 89+ was 232 hehe

It's a UK mag and both articals are rather old. Can't remember how long ago but quite a few years ago. If they would only ask the forum members at UK supras it would be more accurate.
