Actually, there are a LOT more early models out there. Over three times as many, actually.Zer0DeGreeZ;1081265 said:Hey I own an 87. From what I've seen the 89+ models are more popular. I have my doubts for ED making the pre 89 and the 89 stuff. I was just trying to simplify things as I didn't believe they would make both, but again if there is just that much interest in it you never know what they might decide. Let's see how it goes, it's not impossible. Ya know?

Aerodynamic understanding failure.

every single car there with a rear diffusor has a SMOOTH body under tray along with vortices genrators. Without the smooth underbody. Does not do squat.
You can not smooth a turbulant air flow in such a small area no matter how much you try.
Now if "LOOKS" are you thing then by all means have at it, but please do not try and justify it with science when it is part of an entire SYSTEM.

CF 89+ JDM lip with brake duct holes and matching brake ducting (the ducting doesn't have to be CF)
Zer0DeGreeZ;1081242 said:Okay everyone already knows the work Juan is putting behind getting CF parts made for our beloved MKIII's. I've been talking with Juan, and have spoken with Extreme Dimensions myself. So long as there is an interests for ED financially, they will keep making parts for us. So this thread is about making even more suggestions to Extreme D & Carbon Creations, but showing them that there is a big enough market for them to make us stuff. I'll kick it off with some of my ideas, and feel free to suggest some of your own, or offer opinions. Please keep it clean and easily understandable so that if and when ED checks the forums to see the interest, that they will see enough $$$ signs to want to go ahead with the production. In addition to the parts Juan is having made for us (CF hood, CF hatch, CF headlamp covers, duraflex fenders) I'll throw out some ideas of my own. Again this is a suggestion and interests thread not a group buy thread. If we get the interests, we can get the parts. Please make sure your suggestions are universal in a sence they can be used on either the pre 89's or the 89+'s, as I don't believe ED or CC will design specialties for both as it's not a feesable thing for a business to do. Anyways here goes.
My Thoughts & Ideas:
•CF Upper Nose Panel (Juans Suggestion)
•CF 89+ Front Bumper (OEM)
•CF 89+ Front Lip
•CF Fog Light Air Ducts
•CF 89+ Grille Area Air Ducts
•CF Rear Bumper (OEM)
•CF Side Skirts (JDM OEM)
•CF Rear Sun Shade (Aerodynamic Louver)
•CF 89+ 3-Piece Spoiler (OEM)
•CF 1-Piece Spoiler (OEM)
•CF Doors (OEM)
•CF Targa Top (Juans Suggestion)
Also note ED or CC will not do Interior parts, I've already asked.

ZeroDegreeZ
my opinion on this. Everyone SHOWS intrest. But when the time comes to pony up the cash come to pass. Everyone does a Houdini and disappears without a trace. I am sure that Extreme D & Carbon Creations don't want intrest, they want what all companies want when they are testing the market and that is commitment via MONEY.
ATI did it with me (in the order of $900).
RPS did it with me. ($2800)
Flatlander did it with me.($4000+)
Tilton did it with Ron.
In the end. SOMEONE has to fork over money. If no one does, the part does not get made OR worse yet, gets pulled and another "mark" against those cheap ass MKIII owner get notched.
