Ok I have an 88 7mgte. The previous owner put a new wiring harness in and the male connectors for the harness are yellow as well as the ecu plug ins. Now with that being said I just read another thread and it said something about the 89-92 having the yellow plugs? My quetion is what color plugs should my 88 7mgte have for the ecu connections and if it is wrong could it make my car run like dog crap?
Ecu information need help plz!!!!

Ok I just was wondering cuz in the for sale section there's a guy selling some piggyback engine management that is a direct plug and play for the 89-92 but it will work for the 88 if u know wat ur doing. That got me to thinking that that could be the reason my car runs like a champ sometimes and like crap other times
