ECU fried?

What was the problem?

Do you have the the grounds connected to the bottom of the intake? Are you getting spark? Jump fp and b+ in the diag box under hood and see if the pump comes on.
Need more info man.

i put a new battery and it wanted to start right away

Sounds like you put the battery in backwards. If that's the case, you'll need to replace the 100amp "ALT" fuse in the fuse box (going from memory here, so I might be wrong on it's amperage). It unbolts, so you have to remove the fuse box and pull the bottom off to get access to the bolts (think you have to pop that section of the fuse box out and it pulls out the bottom).

Yep. unbolt the fusebox, unclip the block with the ALT fuse on it, and theres one grub screw on each side holding it in.
Be sure to check your fuses in the kick panel too. I was stupid enough to jump start my car backwards, and i blew the ones for my dash, IGN, both EFI's, my fusible link, and the 7.5 in the kick panel, and i fried my radio. It won't even turn on now. Try to be careful in the future. Hooking up your battery is a good way to fry everything in your car, from your turbo timer to your ecu.

ya so i think theres a short sumwhere within my wiring anybody know how much you think it would cost if i brought it to the shop to have them find this shortage quick estimate
