does anyone know what the ect-s button does it has power and manual or nothing for the options.. someone said it is to turn ur injectors into 550cc but I want an acutally opion not just some half wit from the street..thanks

Electronic controlled transmission: when used in automatic only turn on un park or neutral.
This changes the shift pattern in your tranmission and let's you get out of gears quicker,and possibly for me save some gas. But let's say you get out onto an exit for the highway with the ect button on you can take ur third gear to maximum rpm's until shifting into overdrive.

You can turn it on anytime. It adjusts shift firmness and shift timing to be higher and harder. I drove with it on 85% of the time.

Turn it to ECT NORM. Drive smooth and get a feel. You'll have 2500-4500rpm "soft" shifts depending on Throttle.
Flick the POWER MODE On 3000-5500 RPM "firmer" Shifts.
Also when cold, in Power mode the car won't shift into 3rd or OD depending on temp.
