wat could this be?

ebrake barely grabs at the very last notch

brake pads are good but the rotors are worn.

would that make the e brake suck like that or wat and how do i fix it if not?

i bled the brakes and did nothing.

also lmk if you have a 87 7mgte oil pan,and blower motor

thanks,

Moy

The parking brake may be out of adjustment (at the handle). Also, the parking brake is separate from the caliper. It is a drum-style brake inside of the rear rotors. Also, your shoes could be worn to the point warranting new ones.

Your e-brake shoes are probably worn, they are not that thick to begin with. Only place to buy them is from Toyota and they cost about $40 per shoe and you need all 4 so it cost about $160. The shoe is inside the rotor, you have to take them off to inspect.

both wrong. the shoes will take forever to wear out. there tiny new. there is a adjust ment at the handle but the proper way to do it is take the rear wheels off, there s a lil plug in the drum part of the rear rotor, remove that and turn the rotor till the hole is facing down. you will see a little adjuster in side the hole. crank it up or down(i forgot which way on these cars) until its tight then loosen it back 3 clicks.
