If their price is significantly cheaper than buying from a reputable turbonetics dealer then they're probably fakes. There are a few companies in china making turbonetics knockoffs, some even have the name on them.

If they're just ~$100 less then maybe the guy has old stock he's trying to get rid of.

I would be leery of 99% of ebay sellers when it comes to turbos, unless you're ok with the risk of getting a paperweight.

Thanks for the replies guys. He is selling brand new t66 and t72 turbonetics for USD 800. I emailed him and he states they are legit and once you receive it you can registered the turbo with turbonetics for warranty purposes. I don't know weather to believe this seller but he has positive feedback of 100pct. I'm sure somebody here must have purhased from him ?

All depends on the owner I suppose. I've been using mine as daily drivers for 5 of the last 7 years...

My car must have been made wrong then cause it stays running. Hmmm.
Yeah, mine too. We must have gotten some Celica DNA mixed up in our cars. :p

Eh, at that price, I would rather take away the risk and go with a proven track record. Driftmotion:

I take that offense to that, must be one of the owners who whines about their car getting beat by others while it's all stock with 20+ year old parts on it. So you decide to cut a whole bunch of shit off of it and start rigging stuff together then wonder WHY it won't start, call it a piece of shit and call it a day, blaming the car.

End rant.

Actually im keeping my clasic. As Im going for the "Historic Vehicle" in Ontario/High appraisal value on the insurance for the "Just Incase" happens. Also I dont race my car I just drive it. And my car is off the road to fix the water pump that decided to have its whole shaft section slide into and grind the rear timing cover.
