Has anyone used the T4 manifold off ebay? i bought one from SSAutoChrome. Then i was told that i will need to also buy a turbo spacer to lift the turbo up more. because the compressor housing will hit the runners of the manifold. Has anyone had any experience with this issue? As for the turbo, i'll be using the new 67mm Billet turbo.

i had a custom spacer made. it is taller on the strut side than the exhaust manifold side by about 1/2 inch. it is also about 3/8 inch taller on the front than the rear end. it is about 2 inches tall in the middle axis left to right. this moved the compressor housing away from the strut tower so it did not hit it. there is about a 1+ inch space there now. i could put a T 90 or some big shit in there now. this is with the old ss chrome manifold.

it is also angled about 3 degrees i think so that the intake points towards the headlight and the rear dp side is closer to the engine. this allows the dp to go straight down the hole behind the turbo and not hit the wall.

I am curious to see if anybody has run a turbo on one of these manifolds with out a spacer.

I'm running a GT40 and it wont even come close to fitting without a big spacer. I think I needed a bit more than 2".

Intercooler piping kinda depends on where your compressor outlet ends up sitting. I can post pics if you would like.

i dont know why you guys are having issues. i have the s-cover on mine with a 5/8" spacer. a 3/4" should be more than enough on an S-cover. an H cover or GT cover is a different story.

looks like the same manifold i got.. what turbo is that though?

if you got the older style manifold it looks like that. if you got a newer style one the flange is twisted slightly. the turbo is the same as i got for you.

How would that compare to a MP T-70? i just ordered 2 flanges and when i get them im going to stack them to see how it fits, if i need any more space and ill weld in some 1/4 inch plate to make a riser.
