Has anyone used or currently using the ebay seat covers, complete carpet sets, or shift boot covers and e-brake covers? I am on a budget, and this winter I would like to work on the interior (among other things). Here is what I have been looking at...

I like the look of the burgundy interior with black accents, so that is what I want to shoot for. For the seat covers, I would love to find a set that is black w/red stitching, I have seen them before on ebay i thought, but I guess theyre not on there anymore.

Have gotten carpets (~$150), vinyl e-brake and shifter cover from Ebay... All seem to be fine. If the leather seat covers (replacements, not just slip ons) are from the same place that has done our group buys, I've installed he MKIV ones and they seem to be pretty good quality.

Empera on here makes some really nice custom shift/ebrake boots for our cars. Check out his thread in the "misc vendors" section. :)

+2. I have empera's shift/ebrake covers. Someone else sold the carpets but not the main floor carpet.

I will have to look at empera's shift and ebrake covers! Inygknok, that link is just for the passenger side carpet... I am really looking forward to revamping this interior, I am not a fan of the all burgundy interior...
Also, what is a good quality, relatively low price steering wheel?

What they mean by the passenger side is the complete passenger area. I think that is what you were talking about. I bought both passenger and cargo area carpet on ebay and the were great. You will have to cut out the the area where the bolts must go but other then that they are good. I also purchased ebrake boot, shifter boot, center cover, front door inserts, and rear inserts from empera and they turned out great as well. I believe that tekdeus purchased his seat covers from leatherseats.com and they look pretty good but they were more around $900 for front and rear. This is a link to his thread check out page 6.

northdakotakid for spicing up the interior a bit you could pull the carpet out and dye it. thats what i did(burgandy interior also) i died it black and painted my whole interior black and left the cloth/leather panels burgandy so its red on black. it looks good. my dash is black my panels are black my seats are going to be black and burgandy.

I dyed the interiors as well (except panel inserts) with SEM spray paint years ago. I haven't used the car (typical) for years and it's always been under the sun. Hasn't worn off at all. The carpet is the one thing I didn't dye since I'm not sure how well it would survive against the vacuum cleaner and it's not too effective to dye it with sprays. Need to find an actual bottle of dye.
