I just ended an auction on ebay yesterday and i was getting ready to send off the money order, and i jumped on ebay to check out something on my cam position sensor. And what do you know, i see the same lady has another cps. So i opened it up and its the same picture with the same discription (came off a 89' turbo with a rod knock) as the one i just purschased. Is this normal for a person to use the same stuff or is this a hoax?

might be a hoax but unfortunatly for you it is a no win situation.

Don't pay get neg'd
Pay and possilby not see the part.

But at the same time you might see the part to.

I agree, notify Ebay, and also try getting ahold of the seller to see what they have to say about it. They my just be using the same "ad" but have a stock load of parts.

Some people are too lazy to take new pictures and just reuse them. I would use paypal and if you dont see it within two weeks make a claim with either paypal or your credit card againt them and you'll get your money back. Also check out their feedback and see what their history is. Chances are if there are a longtime member or have a lot of good feedback i wouldn't worry too much.

honeslty sometimes i use the same picture of a product, its not a big deal i dont think. Just make sure the feedback is good and when you receive it that its in good condition.

I bought a TPS on ebay from this guy....he has about 3 (or more) of the same item (different listings) using the exact same picture. Received it within a week.

theres nothing wrong w/ reusing ad's.. its a PAIN in the ass to write Good HTML ebay ads. i mean, when you are using diff font sizes, floatng text, steady background images w/ background colors, inserting numerous pictures, bullets, font colors and such... it can get tedious.

i was reusing ads when i had like 24 7MGTE injectors to sell off and 3 2G DSM maf's. My ads were teh hotness, they owned even some of the better full-time retailer ads.

dont sweat it, just use paypal. that way youll have a mediator who you can file a dispute with if you dont get your shit or the seller doesnt contact you. ive had to do 2 disputes already for a total of $800... Paypal returned my money both times.

Reusing the same auction does save plenty of time. Changing the picture just takes a minute though. I usually copy auctions, and change pictures. Lately I have been being lazy when I can get away with it.

What a lot of people don't realize (and maybe some really do) is that the picture has a very big part in the final price of an item. A suck ass picture isn't gonna get good money. My guess is.......the guy buying the first one gets the good one, and the next guys get one that doesn't look so good.
