I got mine here in Aus, and I had to take off the old covers and replace with the new ones. Put them in the sun for half an hour, and all is good :)

Hog rings and pliers are your friend :)

last i remember, leatherseats.com ran a group buy on SF for new covers and had somewhat mixed reviews but overall pretty good. I think you just have to pull off the old leather and rewrap your seats with the new ones.

I just had leatherseats.com covers professionally put on...good and tight...I love them, and have gotten nothing but complements on them so far as well.

Sounds good. Can we see some pics of the perfessional install, I think this is the route I'll have to go also Thanks.

Pics are in my build thread. I can take more and better quality pics once i get the car back from the speedshop. Ignore the dirt/junk in the backseat on the one pic, i had to drill out the broken targa bolt.

Wow! :aigo: Your seats looks great! I like the contrasting stitch color. I would love to see some clearer pics showing the fit & finish. Thanks.

Once i get her back I will get some better pics, fit and finish is damn good. It was a little extra for the stitching like 20bucks i think and then a lil more for the perforated areas, but lots of options colors etc. I am pleased with the outcome.

do they have something for the rear seats also?

well the only bat part about my rear seats are the top of the headrests, they are burnt to a crisp, the rest of the rear seating is mint

Why pay someone to install the covers, when it's easy as piss to do it yourself?

Another reason is, if you want/need new foam a professional can also install that too. I want a tight fit and finish, so I may have to pay someone also though.

The kit i bought had the back seats, front, replacement for the doors and back vinyl pieces as well.

I could remove all the leather easily enough if i had wanted to, and could have redone the back with ease, the front with my fat fingers would have pissed me off to reupholster i think. But luckily for me my GF actually had them redone for my Bday as a surprise. it was around 3-400 i think. They did replace some of the foam.
