Any good? opinions, comments and anything else welcome...

Also, what do you guys think about black carpet in a burgandy interior(slowly attempting to convert to black a little at a time)

I have an 88, but have already changed column surround and a few other pieces to black. This car will most likely have black recaro 2.5TT seats.

I was gonna get my carpet from JCwhitney for the 91 they offer quite a few colors and like 3 differnet grades of carpet. If I am not mistaken thats what was in my silver 89 when I got it. Looks like I wont be the only one with those seats in the future (once I get off my ass and buy some)

I bought a black ebay carpet from A-1It was pre-molded but required a lot of trimming. It looked good, but factory carpet is much better. I fitted the A-1 carpet into my car, but took it off immediately. If anyone wants to buy it from me, send me a PM.

a full set from auto custom carpet is like $150.....well worth it IMNSHO. sure you have to do a lot of cutting, trimming, etc. but it's a great deal.

where did you get that carpet from?? I bought from AutoCustomCarpets - the heel pad looked nothing like the stock one, and fit was less than ideal (i had the mass backing put on). It seems as though they attempted to mold it to a die, but gave up half way through, because it conforms horribly to the floorpan of the car. Color isn't too shabby though.

is it thick carpet or thin? i'd like to change my whorehouse red to black but i can't find anyone here that does the carpet and wanna make sure you guys really think it's good stuff, and if so i'll consider getting it shipped here :)

Details on dyed carpet? Also, could carpet be washed in a washing machine before hand? I do have spare carpet that is decent.

it's thick enough, i'll take pics of it tomorrow and post em on here so u can see for yourself.
