Just want to know what can you do to make a 7M quicker. Also does it make sense to buy stuff for it or just save the $ and buy a JZ engine. let me know what ya think

intake and exhaust, lose some unnecessary parts that you dont use (backseat, spare tire, etc) just starting ideas, carbon fiber hood? get rims lighter than the stock ones, pretty sure those would help. lightweight driveshaft/flywheel....

This is not a Tech question...thread moved. Pay attention to where you post.

In addition, you already asked a question like this:
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1407098

You were told to look through the Articles section. There is a search tutorial in the intro section as well. If you are too lazy to look stuff up, we are too lazy to help you.

I'll leave this open for now...you need to do some research.

If you want easy, forget about just buying a 1jz motor and put it in. A swap is a lot of work and expensive, and you would have to plan on your car to be down for 2-4 months, then probably another to get all the problems worked out.

Search man, I'm surprised this thread is still open. Same question is asked once a week....mod my 7m or go jz?

Guess how many times it's been answered.

Maintenance isn't a mod, its something that should be performed on any vehicle especially after buying a used car. because something is old doesn't mean it will break, when stupid things are done, catastrophe usually results regardless of age.

While it technically not a mod, I'm pretty sure his def of "mods" means things he can do to gain hp. Giving a car thats 20 yrs old and likely neglected for most of them, maintenance is going to net more power. Telling him to turn up the boost or upgrade exhaust are the first "mods" by your def. but if you tell him that and say just dont be stupid about it, hes gonna go strap on the exhaust and boost it w/o said maintenance first and wonder why he blew it to pieces. so to rephrase his question to "what can i do to easily gain HP on my 7M" The the answer is clearly give it a thorough once over and maintenance. This well net more reliability and more HP.
