Hey question....
I found a guy that has a 1987 targa turbo that has 276000 miles on it but he just replaced all the gaskets. If I buy it, should I do a full rebuild on it before I do anything else to it? New pistons, rods, cams, and all that stuff?

^ Nah, replacing gaskets on a 276K engine will make it like new...

besides if anything does blow out on the "new" motor some radiator stop leak or BHG fix in a bottle will work wonders. You spin a rod through some lucas in there straight. LIke new again.........:rofl::icon_roll
