You intend to buy a car for an engine, and yet still won't consider the only car that came in the engine in the states?

I never thought I'd say these words on SupraMania, but - If you want a 2JZGTE, BUY A JZA80.

scott why do you agree yet you have a 2JZ in a car that isn't a JZA80???

edit:: OP....I would do a MK3 supra. S2K is light but traction will be an issue.

IS300's are nice but they never seem to really do that good at the track when swapped. plus they are more of a DD car that you leave stock and enjoy.

my vote is the MK3. cheaper, easier to swap into, good at drag race, good at roll race, and not light so easier to get traction

i've seen an S2K with a stock 320hp 2J and it barely got traction in 3rd gear. thats retarded imo

Ahhh, the one question of yours I will answer. Because you're a lazy, unappreciative shit.

I don't think anyone is going to answer your questions because quite frankly, you're asking the wrong ones.

The last question you should ask when thinking about undertaking an engine swap is if it's easy or not.

You want the easy route so I'm giving it to you - Buy a JZA80

JZA80's cost alot,. compared to spending 1k on a good 90-93 MK3 Rolling chassis and than 6k for a 2jz for a nice reliable supra :D,. dunno i love supras,. specially mk3 models,. i hate the style of the newer one,. and the way i see it 7m or 2jz,. its still supra family :D

Did you even bother to read the other thread you started, youre such an ignorant and unappreciative moron that even supracentral and the other mods got involved.

Swap 2jzgte into IS300, s2k, or Mk3 Supra? Why?

is300: because the vvit non turbo BS sucks

S2k: because the F20/22 just cant produce any torque

MK3: the 7m just isnt that cool.

thats why.

OK, here is the EASIEST WAY. Buy a MKIII turbo with a BHG. Buy an aristo motorset, BIC brackets, a new clutch, 1jz flywheel, 1jz r154 bellhousing and a mid/rear sump oilpan setup. Take both harnesses, box them. Send them to DrTweak along with some cash. Get everything back, PnP enjoy.

Or you can get a bhg cressida for $400, make 5 speed and 2j with stock aristo motor. Couple grand cheaper than anything else and a few hundred pounds lighter than markIII.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: at this thread... Why? Because I haven't been around Supramania for a long time, and this made me laugh. I'm going to undertake a JZ swap soon. Because the Mark 3 is cooler than a S2K and IS300 freak-love-child. The 7M is cool, but not cool enough :sarcasm: And it looks complicated because it is. Not quite as cool as say, a piece of Dry Ice, or maybe that new .22 cal rifle I bought the other day, which isn't really all that cool, but shut up, it's my first gun, I'm proud of it.

You see now, the problem is this: You ask what you think is a simple question. People, seeing your glaring error in judgment, decide to show you the error of your ways, by, well, by insulting you. You indignantly get frustrated at said help, never learning that a simple question is never really simple. EVERYTHING needs reasoning behind it. More legitimate reasons will yield more intelligent, and often more helpful answers. The prerequisite to asking a question is that you have some semblance of knowledge pertaining to what is troubling you. This is the 2nd thread where you have placed illogical questions and expected people to yield a simple yet thorough response. My suggestion? Sell everything you have to do with cars and find another hobby. Maybe folding paper cranes :sarcasm:. Doing research is imperative to modifying your car correctly (although correctly can vary depending on who you ask). If you expect everyone to simply throw all the answers at you, not only are you in the wrong forum, you are in the wrong obsession. Eh, that's what I think anyways. I'm just really bored.

There is a pileOinfo on the Mk3 swap here tlo has posted a link.

If you want to know about an S2000 swap try a Hona Forum ditto on the IS forums again there will be a lot of info available if you take the time to actually look for it and not expect to be spoon fed.

Don't make another of these threads.
