This is from a thread i have in another forum so some of this might not make sense

Also got new set of cams waiting from a 2JZ, about 30 hp gain in the mid and keeps the power till redline unlike the 1J set that falls off a cliff at 5500

In the meantime the guys at the shop had a bit of fun with a BMW 4.4L...

and Mishimoto Radiator Fan shroud, decided to use the Supra radiator instead and will probably upgrade it to a larger one in the near future

Still waiting on wiring... but updated a few things and fit a massive radiator in, thanks to some advice from M33P on the radiator bracket i fit one up that sits extremely low in the body but flush with the A/C condenser. you can see a sliver of the cap when looking head on.

The shroud had to be shave down a bit but i got the two fans to fit as well with a hairs worth of clearance left, fan isnt tightened down all the way so i still have more room left

As it sits now with the shroud and radiator

CSL rotors also came in to start test fitting, absolutely massive rotors.

Wires have been back for about a week and took some time installing them, the all look good although its way to long for the e36 engine bay but with some creative packing it actually tucks away nicely.

Hooked it all up, turn it over got oil pressure then set out to get it started but no joy, currently working threw the steps to get this thing to start

The X20 is the only thing needed, since our E36's have separate ABS computer and speed sensor we don't need anything to mate up with the ecu, you will need a Six cylinder gauge cluster for the tach to work but other then that you wont need any resistor or anything, just run a wire from IG- on the Ignitor to the tach pin on the X20. PM me and ill send you my wiring diagrams.

And after some frustrating trouble shooting the car is all started

Check engine light is on due to no O2 sensor, VSV and IAT sensor and the BATT light is on but the ALT is charging like it should so i there is still a pin in the wrong place, getting there. just going to clean up the engine a bit and get everything stock looking. More pics will come soon
