I have a blue interior on my supra and my e brake handle is itself is blue and torn and looks bad. Can these be replaced alone or do you have to replace the whole e brake lever assembly?

the handle itself should be leather wrapped, i thought. on my gray interior, it's black leather like the shift knob and steering wheel were. the cover over the rest of the mechanism is gray and it's torn up pretty bad though. i know empera was making replacements, and i've also seen replacements on ebay in various colors.

pre 89's had color matched e-brake handles, and 89+'s got black...

I'd like to know as well as the one on my white one's torn to hell, the blue one's mint..

as for straight up replacement look at the local dealership. i woldn't look at a junk yard or pick-n-pull cause they're probaly as bad as yours but who knows you might get lucky. or you look at like sparco or momo sometimes they have ones that will work. i also think that autozone has some.

There are slip over covers, I found them on either a supra parts site or maybe it was Amazon. Most of them are a aluminum tube that slides over the existing cover. You could likely make one by just buying a piece of aluminum tube from a steel supply shop or welding shop that also sales stock to the public.

You could also make yourself one, for less than $1, though you might have to spend about $2.50+ for a 1/2 yrd or for a piece of leather(if you want leather).
This is the one that I made for my '87, as well as shifter/armrest/e-brake boot covers.

Not the greatest craftsmanship, but it only cost me my time(the vinyl was left over from redoing some truck door panels).

i know in the past all i had to do was take a knife and cut along the seam to pull them off other cars i don't bout the mk3's or not but it should be the same way. the only thing is that if you decide that you want it back you already cut it and most likely destroyed it. so make sure that what you really want.
