Yea my car has slotted rotors all around with stainless lines 1987. So I will definitely check the rear adjuster when i get around to it. Thanks guys for all your help.

my e brake as been shit since ive had my car. The handle goes to the top of its travel and it wont hold the car even on the slightest hill. i tried adjusting it from the handle but i think the adjuster nut is at the end of its travel. Car is low miles, but previous owner did have rotors replaced. Could the shoes be that out of adjustment? Or is there something wrong with my cable? (my fear)

I didn't read the whole thread so I don't know if anybody said this yet, but if your adjuster is at the end of the travel, your friction material may have separated from the shoes, causing the e-brake to be metal to metal. Take the rotors off and check.

Shouldn't matter as the adjusters are automatic (they're used to back the shoes away, not to tighten)

NO! the adjusters on the Supra, are not automatic. No dedicated e-brake shoes anywhere are automatically adjusted. only service brake shoes have auto adjusters. and no, they're not to back the shoes away.

Worked on many brands and models, but not that one I guess. I have never seen a dedicated e-brake shoe setup with a self adjuster, but I stand corrected. Anyway thanks for backing me up on the Supra adjuster issue.

I just checked. Mine clicks 14 times! lol. It won't go any further tho. I think I need to adjust mine.

EDIT: Just adjusted mine down to 7-8 clicks. It's very easy to do. The way i did it was: set it to desired amount of clicks. Loosen top bolt, tighten line, tighten top bolt.
