Aaron nice work on the turbo selection and tuning. The engine bay also looks great. If you don't mind me asking what did you end up setting your cam gears at? Again nice work.

Thanks! Glass bead cabinet FTW! You will have to take it apart to do it though. I even disassembled the alternator and removed the windings from the case to bead blast the aluminum.

Thats dedication! If I ever get another car, Im gonna do that!! But for now this supra has to get me everywhere every day. Its my only car

Aaron, doesn't your WOT tracking work?? I can hold 11.5 pretty well at wot, and i'm having alot better luck with 4.63, made it tons better response wise from a stop. Write down all your settings and reflash 4.63 or 4.65, that gives you timing monitor and control also. I cant playback datalogging now so thats kinda pissing me off, I can log with wideband but only t/p rpm and a/f. I cant wait for the new version of this crap tunerpro.

Is it just me or does 421whp seem a bit low for that turbo at 17psi?

421 rwhp on a 58 mm( inducer size) turbo is very respectable especially on the stock intake manifold.Plus I saw no a/f's listed so if this was kept at the industry standard safe of 11.2 to 11.7 there is still more left in it at these boost levels. Like I said earlier nice job all the way around.

I think Garretts model terminolgy causes a LOT of Confusion!

The 4082 isn't a HUGE turbo!

I think Aaron's done really well!
yea but it spools like one... the gt40 exhaust wheel must be damned big..

Agreed. I especially like trying to keep up with the GT3540 and GT3037 and such. Even my GT4202 with it's 2 mm major on the compressor wheel (HA HA)

You know I wouldn't even dream of paying that extra 1300.00 dollars over a standard turbo if it weren't for that extra 200 rpm of spool !
