dude... you may rev to 7... but you lose power at like 5300... WTF?!

Also... Your a/f ratio at peak HP is like 12.2... Isn't that a little on the lean side?!?!

:dunno:

torque on a CT26 7M car starts falling off way before the 5300 on mine.

Lol. I don't think many people "plan" to keep the stock twins. If I had the spare cash laying around, they'd be off ASAP.

Hopefully sometime this year I'll be able to upgrade. but for now, a 300hp daily driver is pretty enjoyable, you know?

Not quite Joe.

Oh forgot to add nice numbers. :)

This is a pretty average 7m ct26 dyno.

4.5k is pretty early where the torque starts to fall.

Not trying to start controversy. Just comparing.

Good #s Joe for the relatively small amount of mods. Any pland for more power, or just gonna drive the shit out of it??

I'm enjoying watching Jay(suprahero) and his progress with his GT35R setup. Well documented single turbo 1J cars are still pretty rare here in the US so it's nice to see where he started and where he'll end up.

Just gonna drive the shit outta the twins for now though. They will die eventually so might as well get as much fun out of them as I can.

hey joe i see what you're saying about the 1j holding peak torque at higher rpm, but it looks like the 1j spikes a bit more where the stock 7m has a flatter/wider powerband. anyhow both are very similar and it looks very good.

are you planning to keep the twin setup or are you going to go to a big single?

I was pretty intrigued by the hp and torque curves when I saw it. The hp rises in almost a straight line throughout the RPM range. But comparing the boost vs tq graphs, you can see when the torque hits about 280ft/lbs is the same RPM where max boost is also achieved right around 3250. Then the torque@280ft/lbs and boost@12psi stay pretty constant throughout the rest of the useable RPM range.
