Thanks for all of the support guys!! Yes those are rear wheel horsepower numbers. The dyno was a Dyno Jet. I am not sure of the exact model number. I am still at work so I haven't had time to post the dyno sheet or the video but it will be posted up soon. Thanks to foreverpsycotic for posting my mod list before every one went crazy the only thing he left out is my MSD blaster coil and it is a freshly rebuilt motor. I think that answers all of the questions!! Oh yeah I feels good to know that I can take down a turbo........now if I could just find one around here!! Once again thanks for all of the kind words!!

Not to rain down on ya here, but something is deffinitly wrong here. If you had 253 rwtq @ 5200 RPM then you should have had 250 rwhp @ 5200 rpm.

Something tells me that the dyno operator did something wrong and those numbers are not correct. With those numbers, you would be making somewhere around 280 to 300 flywheel hp and I honesty cant see a 80 to 100 hp gain coming from the mods that you have.

CJ's right....

hp = tq * rpm / 5252

hp = 253.7 * 5200 / 5252

hp = 250.5 hp @ 5200 rpm.

Something's wrong, sorry man :( Post a pic of the dyno graph!

I just looked up that same formula online, but I don't think that formula factors in drivetrain loss. even then my drivetrain loss would be only like 8% and from what i understand it is supposed to be 10-15%. than I started thinking that I do i have the Aluminum one piece driveshaft so that has to lower the drivetrain loss and I just filled the tranny and the diff with Royal Purple fluids. Either way I called James today to ask if the number may have been calculated wrong and he said if they were then he would gladly give me 3 more pulls for free just to make sure everything is okay!! I still think those numbers are pretty close to the truth!!

:biglaugh: He will have to post a visual aid just for the ones that don't want to give him credit. Never the less in my eyes he is the big dog in the N/A world. The turbo world be warned they will need to step it up from the basic stuff. A hyped N/A on the juice will hurt your typical turbo.

Sorry for the hold up on the visual aid!! My friend has the video on his camera. He works all night and sleeps all day, so it is hard to get him to do crap I ask him to do. I was slammed at work today so I didn't scan my sheet. Thanks for the kind words!! Oh yeah and I have thought about spraying but I don't know is that will still count as a N/A motor setup
