DuPont Krytox oils

Anyone else ever hear of this. Says it has use in automotive applications but for what? The only oils I can think of are engine, tranny and diff.

I've been using a krytox-based lubricant on my bicycle for years now...

Neat stuff--goes on wet, dries without a sticky residue...and actually works pretty well. Doesn't attract dirt and doesn't gum up.

Never tried any automotive products though.

Makes it sound like it may be a good bearing grease...at least you know it won't react with seal material with aluminum (at temps under 550F). :icon_bigg
