A good friend taught it to me. It's definately a lot nicer than holding the filter while oil runs down your arm and into your shirt knowing you can't wipe it away yet.

I think i will go nuts it Something goes a miss and i can't make it this year. I have missed so many due to a non running car. I plan to make it this year for sure. (Provided nothing screws up ) :praying_heavily:

Here are the pictures, not sure how yours looks but between my "Fat Hands" LOL and everything in there its a hard to get spot. Haven't tried from underneath yet though.

LOL! Your wiring and PS lines suck. I'll have to post a pics of mine.

Thanks for the vote of confidence...LOL

Please post pics. If there is a better way for the PS lines then i wish to see it. THe Wiring on the other hand is in the stock location except for the wire to the starter wich i have not put back into place yet

dude not even. we couldn't even get the stock filter down there w/o problems...
thats why you put the oil filter from underneath the car...i did my oil change on my 1jz on 35 degree weather while its raining in the middle of the night in 15-20 minutes...

I have to say mine was pretty difficult to get to also. The hardest part though is holding it upright trying to maneuver it out without spilling any oil.

I now have on the Greddy relocator mounted to the top of the shock tower about waist high for me. Just slip a plastic bag under the filter and change it out in less than a minute. Takes longer for the oil to drain. Putting on the filter kit is a major PITA though.

what the fuck is up with that. Why of all places in that location facing the driver side suspension?

toyota didnt design it around LHD maybe thats why 1JZ's never made it to the US J/K.

actualy I went through the front of the engine under the PS pump i have long arms, but it almost takes a giant to do that like when the worlds tallest man saved that dolphine maybe you could hire him to grab it:dunno:
