Yeah i think im just going to use two halogen projectors.. I dont feel like messing around with HIDs. haha

My lights r wired like how u describe. The projector is low beam (hid), the high beam unit (halogen) turns on with the high beam light switch. Sorry, but I wouldn't be able to explain how to do it, I had someone else do the wiring.
I'm gonna change my setup by putting lexus ls430 projectors (the best of projectors) into h4 housings.

rodel;1679961 said:Fyi....they would be wired the same way.
Backlash2032;1679999 said:I wouldnt have them wired the same way as you, as I would be switching between bulbs for high and low. You have it set up so when high beams are on the HID switches to high beam and then the second halogen projector turns on, correct?
rodel;1680010 said:My Hella 90mm projector modules are not bi-xenon (low beam only). Additionally, I have Hella 90mm high beam modules (non-projector).
My headlights turn on in the following ways:
low beam HID "ON"
OR
low beam HID "ON" and high beam "ON"
Why would you need the low beam HID to turn "OFF" when the high beam is turned "ON"....since the high beam would overpower the low beam? Also, because of the brightness of HID lighting inside a projector, hardly is there a reason to turn "ON" high beam; hence, the reason that I have a halogen bulb in my high beam modules (no need to spend on HID).
Backlash2032;1680034 said:Oh, I was under the assumption of you had bi-xenons. Sorry.
And honestly, I just dont have the cash flow to dump extra on a set of HIDs, plus i would have no idea how to wire it. Switching bulbs would be much easier to wire in

Sure, I could slap something together, but I have high standards and don't like cutting corners, especially if I'm going to sell them.

Poodles;1680076 said:Correct, completely different. The hardest part of that entire assembly is the bezel around the lights...

Just saw poodles post.. maybe not.. hahaha
